Moral Education and Change in Life
In India, everyone is a witness to diminishing moral values and the people are being surprised to watch everywhere the presence of corrupt practices. The subject of moral education has become only a part of lessons learned in school and the children are getting inspired from mal-practices publicized in media and television. The old songs seem more entertaining because the things described in old songs have become part of dreams nowadays.
Morality in LifeStyle
The nuclear families with everybody working for earning money to feed the family, made the whole of India face a downfall in moral values. Nobody has time to think & work for improving the culture and people are capturing bad habits and vulgar messages to impress others. The relationships among families are being maintained by using Facebook and Whatsapp. When I asked and discussed this matter with an aged person; he described the whole scenario:
"परिवार अब कहाँ ,
परिवार तो कब के मर गए।
आज जो है, वह उसका
केवल टुकड़ा भर रह गए ।।
पहले होता था दादा का,
बेटों पोतों सहित, भरा पूरा परिवार ।
एक ही छत के नीचे, एक ही चूल्हे पर, पलता था उनके मध्य, अगाध स्नेह और प्यार।।
अब तो रिश्तों के आईने, तड़क कर हो गए हैं कच्चे, केवल मैं और मेरे बच्चे ।
माँ बाप भी नहीं रहे परिवार का हिस्सा, तो समझिये खत्म ही हो गया किस्सा।।
होगा भी क्यों नहीं, माँ बाप भी,
आर्थिक चकाचौंध में बेटों को,
घर से दूर भेज देते हैं ।
किसी होस्टल में, पढ़ने के बहाने,
वंचित कर देते हैं प्रेम से जाने-अनजाने।।
Smarter Children and Morality
The education system has been continuously being modernized with unnecessary burden upon students for charging more money & publicizing the greater value of schools, institutions, and universities. No doubt, the students from the modern education system are smarter than earlier but somewhere we can realize the diminishing moral values among the students. When I asked a socially recognized person to comment upon this feature of modern society, he explained -
"आज की शिक्षा हुनर तो सिखाती है, पर संस्कार कहाँ दे पाती है। पढ़ लिख कर बेटा डॉलर की चकाचौंध में, आस्ट्रेलिया, यूरोप या अमेरिका बस जाता है। यहाँ तक की माँ - बाप को कंधा देने भी नहीं पहुंच पाता है। जो बाहर नहीं जा पाते वो भी बस जाते हैं बंगलौर, हैदराबाद, मुम्बई, नोएडा या गुड़गांव में। फिर लौट कर नहीं आते माँ बाप की छांव में।"
Using Social Media for raising the level of Moral Values
Facebook and WhatsApp are full of videos and clips to inculcate morality and there are messages to keep relationships active with the parents and grandparents but in reality, there are only a few children who decide not to join service and not to go abroad just to fulfill their moral responsibilities. Even it is found that there are examples of children who made fools of their parents and left them in India without telling a single word to them about their flight to abroad. Had we ever imagined such a society?
"पिछले वर्ष का है किस्सा,
ऐसा ही एक बेटा, देकर घिस्सा,
पुस्तैनी घर बेचकर, माँ के विश्वास को तोड़ गया ।
उसको यतीमों की तरह, दिल्ली के एयर पोर्ट पर छोड़ गया।
उस भी नालायक ने माँ से बात नहीं, पर ये क्या, पूरे एक साल नहीं हुआ तो वापस आ गया।
आया तो देखा माँ का आठ माह पुराना कंकाल।
बाद में पता चला कि माँ से मिलने का तो केवल एक बहाना था, असली मकसद फ्लैट बेचकर खाना था।
आपसी प्रेम तो खत्म होने ही था जब लड़ने लगे बाप और बेटा।"
A recent news made me to write my words in the form of some text to open the eyes of adults. The adult age doesn't come always with egostic behavior and in earlier times I had seen sons to hold the hands of parents after being adult. But due to downfall in moral values the news are convincing parents not to make their children more educated.
"करोड़पति सिंघानियां को लाले पड़ गये हैं आज खाने के।
बेटे ने घर से निकाल दिया, चक्कर काट रहा है कोर्ट-कचहरी-थाने के।
परिवार को तोड़ने में अब तो
कानून ने भी बो दिए हैं बीज।
कहा- जायज है लिवइन रिलेशनशिप
और कॉन्ट्रैक्ट मैरिज।
ना मुर्गी, ना अंडा, ना सास ससुर का फंडा।
आगे है समय जब न होगी शादी की जरुरत।
जब पति पत्नी ही नहीं
तो परिवार कहाँ से बसते।
कॉन्ट्रैक्ट खत्म, चल दिये अपने-अपने रस्ते।
इस दौरान जो बच्चे होगें, पलेगें यतीमों की तरह।
In the race of earning more and more, societies are proceeding to end mutual understandings and relationships. Definitely, the time will come when the students will be provided to write an essay on "Once Upon A Time There Was A Living Joint Family".
"अर्थ की भागम भाग में मीलों पीछे छूट गए हैं ,रिश्ते नातेदार।
टूट रहे हैं घर परिवार, सूख रहा है प्रेम और प्यार।
परिवारों का इस पीढ़ी ने ऐसा सत्यानाश किया,
कि आने वाली पीढ़ियां सिर्फ किताबों में पढ़ेंगी -
"वन्स अपॉन अ टाइम ,
देयर वाज लिवींग..ज्वाइंट फैमिली"
Earlier there was a need to measure the height of the sky but it seems now there will need to measure the depth of earth.
"आसमाँ की ऊंचाई नापना,
छोड़ दे ए दोस्त ।।
मेरी मान, ज़मीं की गहराई बढ़ा,
अभी और नीचे गिरेंगे लोग ।।"
It is fact that happiness depends upon our nature:
संसार बड़ा विचित्र है। संसार में प्रसिद्ध व्यक्ति कहीं छुपने की जगह ढूंढते हैं और सामान्य व्यक्ति प्रसिद्ध होना चाहते हैं । इन समस्याओं का उपाय ईश्वर ने जो दिया है ,उसी में प्रसन्न रहना सीखे ।
इच्छाएं तो कभी समाप्त नहीं होंगी।।
"The world is very strange. Famous people in the world find a hiding place somewhere and ordinary people want to be famous. Learn to be happy in whatever God has given us to live our life. Desires will never end."
